Scoring award, MVP, First team, etc.

75 games minimum.

This weak shit with playing 66 games and winning MVP is a total joke.

Literally every award should just be defaulted to Lebron unless someone REALLY has an uncanny case for it, as determined by a panel of three arbiters qualified to judge.

Think it through for a second. When you raise it that high you will eliminate so many people you start having worse and worse players on all NBA teams, which just makes them eligible for Supermax. You can say the team should just refuse to pay it but we have seen that isn’t how it works. the NBA isn’t looking to have 35 players Supermax eligible. It’s better for everybody to concentrate the accolades a little closer to the top.

The biggest problem in the NBA today is stars sitting out games.

Let them sit out, but then they'll make less money.

Just don’t complain about Mikal Bridges getting 412 million in a few years.

Why do you care if you don't even watch the games anyway?

I think that's a little much. If someone misses 10 games, they shouldn't be disqualified from awards.

75 is really high nowadays, but the difference between 65 and 70 is huge, I think. I don't think you can be injury prone and play 70 games.

Look at that, kinda interesting. I imagine that's where they got it from, that and 80% being a nice number.

I think guys should have to play more games, for sure. I think 65 games is too low, but I guess it's on par with what people are doing. If that's legit the average of all stars then I can't say much. Sucks, but that's why the NBA sucks heh.

To be honest I'd rather see an NBA season only have 75 games

Some players have legitimate injuries. 75 games played. You basically can't miss 2 weeks.
A groin pull or sprain ankle can put you on the shelf for 2 weeks.

We just have the weed through players missing games just for the hell of it.

You know this would result in dudes checking into a game for one possession just to meet this "quota" of games played.

You can stop that too. Plus the stats will go down which lowers the chances of making award. Imagine KD have 20+ games of under 1 minute played.

Ok, 70 games minimum.

And add in writing that playing the full season (or close to it) should give an added bonus in voting.

Maybe just do a games played bonus in the voting of like 10% so close calls go to the guy who showed up but the greatest players still get the accolades that are obvious.

70 games used to be the requirement for scoring titles so I think that's a good cutoff and has historical precedent.

75 is a bit too high.
