When you look at all the past winners: Bucks, Denver, Golden State, Raptors, San Antonio, Mavs they all had been playing with almost the same core for years and were having good results before winning a chip.

Cleveland before Bron joined them and won a chip:

24-58 record and didn't even make the playoffs obviously...

Miami before Bron joined them and won a chip:

47-35 got trashed first round in the playoffs and were even a 15-67 team...

Lakers before Bron joined them and won a chip:

35-47 didn't even make the playoffs and were the 12th worst team in NBA HISTORY in the last 5 yr span combined with records of 17-65 before Lebron joined...


Durant joined number 1 seed in Warriors and number 1 seed in the Suns, Dame is joining number 1 seed in Bucks. When Durant, Kyrie, Harden went to a new team they got destroyed and it was a mess. Only Bron is able to take a mediocre team, get a few good players and win immediately because it's hard to gel that quick.


All the other teams who won had players playing together for a long time. It's one thing joining a fully gel'ed team with a strong core and already a system in place being the number 1 seeds before they join like Dame, Durant, etc are doing. It's a total different animal for anyone else to try what Bron did and take the worst team in the league and win a chip 1 yr after with a total different roster. Only the goat can do that and he did it with 3 different teams, that's crazy, all the others failed!

The composition of a quality basketball team is the duty of the front-office not the individual player, even the marquee player.

If the front office fails in that duty, the all-star player is wise to find a front-office that can do their job.

While I respect people like Curry for sticking around and winning, he's winning in part because the front-office found him complimentary parts in Thompson and Green, as well as role players. Some front-offices are incompetent, while others have good years, and then a lot of bad years.

Anyone who has played any team sports know how it works. You can put a bunch of super stars together like team US did and play against "individually" worse players and lose. Would anyone say It's not easy to play with a bunch of new guys, it takes time and there are so many factors involved. Joining a number 1 seed where guys have already played tgt for years and got great results is easy. Bron took the hardest road. Dame, Harden, Kyrie, Durant all took the easy road.

How can you say jumping to stacked teams if those teams before he came were totally trash. I showed the numbers, the Lakers, Cavs and Miami were dogsh** before he joined and it took him 1-2 years to win a ring immediately. While all the other guys tried and failed.

Look at Jordan, he tried the same and failed miserably. He only won in a team that had been playing tght for years. Just like Bucks, GSW and all the other champ teams who needed time to build up a great team in order to win. Lebron on the other hand was able to do the unthinkable...

This is one of the dumbest arguments ever. If you team hop with super star talent and stack the deck of course you'll have a better chance at winning vs trying to do it organically over the long haul.

But it's ironic because every time he did it he actually lost in embarrassing fashion right from the jump ~ 2011 GOAT choke, 2015 locked up by iggy and gave him a FMVP award for it, 2019 lottery missed the playoffs before AD came over.
