Ray Allen…

You don’t wanna do the most obvious so…the dunk on Tmac to win that playoff game

It's funny how some of the most clutch players of all time don't have a lot of rings. Ray has 2, Jerry West had one (I think) and Reggie Miller doesn't have any.

If I were AK 47, I would get a large digital picture frame and a clip of a move he did where he chained a spin move into a crossover in the corner and blew by somebody who may or may not have been Kenyon Martin then had a lovely drop off to somebody else to finish. I’m not describing it well, but it is crystal clear in my mind. That or find some clip of him defending Wizards Jordan. Preferably blocking his shot unless blocking Wizards Jordan looks lame. Like striking out Ichiro on the Marlins or picking off Chiefs Joe Montana.

Well it seems Jordan had 44 on the Jazz when rookie AK was there so maybe no positive interactions. He did have 4 blocks in 16 minutes so you never know though. Given Wizards Jordan’s usage rate one of those blocks could be on him.

AK was legit a robot. I wish some of these guys got a chance to compete for rangz. Sad how it doesn't work out that way. Imagine AK instead of Dray.

Does it have to be them playing? Because this McHale shot is awesome; it really shows how long his arms were.

Do you think he'd be better in today's league? We has pretty damn good in his own era.

Keeping Kobe from even being able to even get a shot up for a half was my favorite and when I knew he was something special. I believe it was Stockton's last year when he was still coming off the bench. Kobe finally got up a couple prayers before the end of the 1st half. Probably this game?

probably. He was best at the 4 before Sloan insisted on Stockton/Malone lite. He'd be at the 4 today and have load management. Shooting still not great

It amazes me how much lift a lot of these guys get on their jumpers.

I guess the main purpose is to get the shot off over a closing defender, Ive always felt you get more accuracy shooting if youre as close to the ground as possible. More stable base. Steph Ive noticed uses very little lift when he shoots, altho Ray Allen liked to get a good spring and release at the peak of his jump. TMac would always jump super high and shoot while hanging in the air, but it just seems like such unnecessary stress on the knees.

Yea I feel you, but a heavyweight like Larry Johnson jumping that high to shoot is crazy to me.

I mean it IS called a jumper. Back in the earlier days you had the random set shot people and big guys taking shots who didn't need to jump. But all guys under a certain height had to literally jump whenever they shot...

If you can learn to orient yourself in the air it's much easier than not jumping. Closer to the basket

He should have dunked it even at that age (38) lol

I loved Tayshaun but that one play made me remember him as an elite shotblocker for his position but in reality he averaged half a block per game (. 5bpg)
