Spiderman 2

Just pre-ordered Spiderman 2. The original is one of the best games of this generation IMO. It's one minor weakness is the repetitiveness of open world skirmishes. A problem a lot of open world games seem to have. One of the defining things about a good open world game for me is how entertaining traversal is. Spiderman's webslinging is among the best traversal I can ever recall. And one of the things I think helps it is that the map isn't overly enormous.

I'm optimistic. I haven't played anything in a while.

Armored Core 6 and Baldur's Gate 3 were the knock it out the park games of the year.
