View Full Version : I feel bad for those who have dairy allergies.

Hey Yo

I couldn't fathom a world without cheese or milk.

I love cheese, ice cream, yogurt, and mostly every dairy product. You name it.

I try to avoid dairy and chocolate because unfortunately it makes my skin breakout if I have too much of it. Still get pimples here and there and I hate that

I know someone with a gluten allergy, I think that is probably worse. So many things have gluten.

Both issues would suck though. Being able to eat whatever I want is probably something I take for granted.

My dude, I'm lactose intolerant and that shit...feels like some Saw trap where you have razor blades in your stomach and you gotta get em out before you die. RIP stomach type shit.

Luckily they make lactaid pills so I can still eat some mac n cheese and stuff. I still don't **** with heavy cream products though...even the pills can't save you there

I have actually had lactose intolerant in my mid- years ... probably cause I would eat 1/2 of a 1/2 gallon of ice cream in a sitting.

Had to be super careful ... still use 2% and am fortunate I can eat ice cream in moderation.

Adults shouldn’t drink milk.
I have not had it in years.
One of the better diet things I have done. ^^ better for your skin, and I stopped getting migraines once I stopped it.
I’ll **** up some cheese though.

I have seen the majority of heavy milk drinkers gain weight or are over weight and will not admit it.
Milk should be drank in moderation if you are an adult IMO.

I encourage people who think they are lactose intolerant to try drinking some raw (unpasteurized) dairy products.

Lactose intolerance is caused by a digestive system that creates low levels of lactase. Raw milk contains bacteria that promote the creation of the lactase enzyme, and people who struggle to digest pasteurized dairy products often have zero issues with raw dairy because of this.

It can be difficult to acquire raw milk (in my state its illegal to buy/sell and in order to acquire it you basically need to be a "shareholder" in a milk farm)... but its not very hard to get raw cheese (most specialty grocery stores will have some, trader joes always has several of them for cheap).

If you think you're lactose intolerant, try some raw dairy... maybe youre just intolerant to modern "food safety" legislation.

Can confirm. There's some goat cheeses that won't bother me at all despite them being milk-based. Don't know about milk that you can drink though

Why are you so triggered by the scientific fact that unlike pasteurized dairy, there are enzymes (lactase in particular) and bacteria that aid digestion of dairy (specifically lactose - the sugar that causes most dairy allergies).

Have you ever actually tried raw dairy?

Most grocery stores carry a couple of raw milk cow cheeses these days. If you normally have issues with cow cheese you should def give it a try.

Why would I? For the cost there are cheaper better alternatives. And still avoid dairy allergies.
Like listen to you. Sugar causes dairy allergies? Lol. Dairy causes dairy allergies. Sugar isn't an allergen. It's a byproduct of glucose.

But go ahead doctor and spill some more facts. Haha

So you are blindly hating on something that you have never tried because its cheaper to drink fake "milk" made out of nuts and hydrogenated oils? :oldlol

And you think that youre a health expert?

Anyway, if you had any knowledge of biology whatsoever, you would instantly know that lactose is a sugar, because in biology words that end in "ose" all share a key similarity - glucose, sucrose, fructose... are you able to see the pattern yet?

"dairy causes dairy allergies"... no shit sherlock, and what exactly is the specific chemical in dairy that causes these allergies?

You're confusing milk allergies with lactose intolerance. A common mistake amongst you internet educated clowns. If you want to get specific lactose doesn't cause dairy allergies. Cassein does. The sugar doesn't. The lactose intolerance is the inability to create it into sugar. So yes 'dairy: causes dairy allergies since cassein is the primary suspect.

But you're the true expert who claims milk is better for you than water. :lol

There's a lot of success with a bunch of different foods. Nanners however pretends to be a biochemist and is peddling milk is some sort of superfood. It's an important food group but not more that fruits and vegetables. And certainly not more important than water.

This is the same guy who attempted to shut me down for promoting whey protein. Guess where whey comes from?

In all seriousness I can have an honest discussion about the topic but some people too arrogant to be corrected

I never pretended to be anything.. and I'm gonna pretend that a so-called nutritionist didnt just say that "milk is an important food group just like fruits and vegetables" :oldlol:

Every mammal on this planet consumes only milk for food during the earliest and most vulnerable moments of their life. Humans drink milk exclusively until ~6 months old, and prior to modern inventions like formula and pumping it was common for young humans to survive off milk alone until 2 years or significantly older. Is there any other natural food source that can sustain a human life during the moments that it is most fragile and undergoing its most extreme moments of growth and development?

If milk is not a superfood, then what exactly is? Let me know when a human infant can grow and thrive off a diet of exclusively Kale, Chia Seeds, Salmon or any of the other of the so-called "superfoods".

Yes, youre too arrogant to be corrected. In your initial post in this thread you falsely claimed that its a "conspiracy" that lactose intolerance is the cause of most dairy allergies, and that raw milk (which naturally contains and promotes the production of lactase) could help with this allergy.

TBH I feel bad for you... I cant imagine being such a pathetic and small person that I'd care more about my messageboard beef with some random jabroni than factual information that might actually help someone deal with a food allergy.

Your claims of milk being some sort of superior source of nutrients even better than water is what I question. But what do I know? I just run my own nutrtion company. Of course and internet educated jabroni would know more lolol

How so?

Because whey is a waste product. You're talking about dairy being puss... whey is the puss of the puss. Dairy companies had huge stockpiles of it that they used to just throw out but then were able to market it to gym bro culture as a great source of protein when in reality chicken, beef, eggs etc. are far more healthy for you than that crap. We live in a consumer culture that promotes convenience though so when gym bros see they can drink 80g of protein in a couple minutes they think it will be better for their gains but in reality they're basically poisoning themselves. Real food is always better.

If you go on youtube and look at what top bodybuilders used to eat... like Ronnie Coleman or Jay Cutler or whatever. It was just massive amounts of beef and chicken and rice and pasta and some vegetables. They weren't pounding protein shakes because they knew it was a scam for the common pleb trying to get bigger.

They're much more natural bioavailable source of protein compared to all the artificial products a store like GNC sells. Yolks are good for you too but 30 of them would **** your cholesterol up bad. :lol

There is no denying that milk is a great source of nutrients (especially raw milk that has not been robbed of its natural enzymes/bacterias), even a supposed "nutrition company owner" (whatever that means) like yourself has to admit that milk has more nutrients than water (why would you even argue that?)... so anyway what is your point exactly?

Heres the actual genesis of this entire dispute (prove me wrong) - a few months back I posted in a thread about sport drinks that raw milk was a great sport drink, you took offense to this and repeatedly attacked me personally while failing to dispute my original point on this topic... fast forward to right now, when I posted in a thread about dairy allergies that raw dairy could be helpful to some, once again you took offense for no apparent reason and immediately started personally attacking me.

Are you really going to follow me around like some kind of lost puppy and desperately whine for attention every time I mention raw milk? The fvck is wrong you with you anyway?

Whey isn't a waste product. In fact it's isolated remove the protein and the other products are waste. Whey is one of the most expensive food commodities in the world and used in virtually every food item. So your information is wildly off

You were being corrected and your ego got hurt. I merely pointed out facts to refute what you were saying but as per usual you attack my integrity. So I just stoop to your level. I've corrected yoo many of your fallacies. You don't even know the difference between a dairy allergy and being lactose intolerant. Or the difference between mother's milk and milk from an animal. Further more you believe milk is more important than water. Lol. Never heard of anyone dying from removing dairy from their diet.
Further you make assumptions about me drinking soy. But you're the one on an estrogen rant. Lol.
