Yes. Jim Jordan is a Legislator that doesn't create or sponsor laws. He hasn't fundraised and never cut deals. He gets smacked around by judges. He is the antithesis of what's needed but they act like they don't have options. Jeffries is going to win the vote 7 straight times.

Well, he is on record saying he will not pass any budget if he doesn't get everything he wants, including Biden impeached. His Freedom caucus wants big cuts to medicare, medicaid, social security, pretty much every social program. They refuse to compromise and are willing to hold the House hostage if they don't get everything they want. I don't see how he or any member of the House caucus gets enough votes to become the speaker.

As House Speaker, Gym would never certify a Trump loss in '24.

Yes, this is very extreme but people think its nothing. He is second in line for the Presidency if they get him in. He is a complete failure at his job.

BREAKING: Juicy details of the Republican Party's chaotic infighting leak to the media and they include MAGA Congressman Matt Gaetz getting furiously cursed out by members of his own party.
This is just too funny...
According to CNN's Brianna Keilar and Manu Raju, the backroom discussions between Republicans went nuclear after Representative Jim Jordan paused his bid for the Speakership earlier today.
"Back here in Washington on Capitol Hill, there is even more chaos over the speaker of the House race, Congressman Jim Jordan, who has failed to win the speakership after two rounds of voting, is putting a pause on a third vote and, according to sources, may back expanding the powers of the interim speaker, the Speaker Pro Tem Patrick McHenry, as a temporary fix until Jordan can try again," Keilar said to Raju.
“It’s a plan that seems to be dividing the GOP conference just as much as Jordan’s candidacy," she went on. "And tensions are soaring in a GOP conference meeting underway right now with a lot of swearing and shouting. So let’s get more now on this latest twist from CNN chief congressional correspondent Manu Raju. This meeting, Manu, really sounds like it got out of hand. Where are things standing?"
"Yeah, it’s been going on for more than 3 hours," said Raju. "It has devolved into a back-and-forth, tense words being exchanged, swear words being exchanged, including at one point the former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy telling Matt Gaetz, who led the effort to oust him, to sit down."
Gaetz refused at which point "some other members cursed at him."
"One member, Mike Bost, went after him as well, cussing at him several times, we’re told," said Raju. "Also a number of members called on Jim Jordan, the speaker nominee for the Republican Party, to drop out. That is something that Jordan is refusing to do.
"Basically, where this stands right now is that Jordan has said that he would support making Patrick McHenry, the interim speaker, giving him more legislative power to move through the legislative process, take up bills that have been essentially paralyzed amid this fighting within the House," Raju added. "But he says he will not drop out of the race to be speaker."
This entire affair is a complete disaster for Republicans. It should now be clear to every American that Republicans are completely incapable of governing. Their party is composed of hacks, lunatics, and fascists.
The reason for this debacle is quite simple. Republicans can't come together because they believe in nothing. Every single one of them is out for themselves and has zero interest in doing what's best for the American people.
A vote for a Republican is a vote for utter chaos.

Legend, Jordan has lost votes every round, is obviously trending in the wrong direction. Out of 220 people GOP can only put forth a guy who in 17 years (his career) never pushed a bill for his voters which is his main job. Then he doesn't even believe voting works.
Wow.

Didn't Trump also endorse Jim jordan? Still enough Republicans hate the guy that he keeps losing votes each time. Trump's endorsement doesn't mean sh!t anymore :pimp:

Yeh Blade, Jordan didn't move a finger when his football team was getting abused - he's lazy and slimy. We know he doesn't work with other congress people. He's just a firebrand for Trump.
