there is no justification or defense for this. that this could even happen on US soil is shocking to say the least.
democrats are imprisoning their political foes for meming at their expense.

My only issue here is that he wasn't sentenced for longer.

On Twitter in 2016, Twitter users interested in politics commonly stumbled across Mackey’s Ricky Vaughn account. He posted rapidly and at a high volume. Archives show that Mackey averaged over 100 tweets and retweets per day between 2014 and 2016. He mixed more benign news articles with more sinister fare, including links to the neo-Nazi site Daily Stormer and racist and antisemitic memes.
He was much more productive than Chewie. :oldlol:

Interesting that the splc link doesnt mention what the guy actually did
For example, on November 1, 2016, in or around the same time that Mackey was sending tweets suggesting the importance of limiting “black turnout,” the defendant tweeted an image depicting an African American woman standing in front of an “African Americans for Hillary” sign. The ad stated: “Avoid the Line. Vote from Home,” “Text ‘Hillary’ to 59925,” and “Vote for Hillary and be a part of history.” The fine print at the bottom of the deceptive image stated: “Must be 18 or older to vote. One vote per person. Must be a legal citizen of the United States. Voting by text not available in Guam, Puerto Rico, Alaska or Hawaii. Paid for by Hillary For President 2016.” The tweet included the typed hashtag “#ImWithHer,” a slogan frequently used by Hillary Clinton. On or about and before Election Day 2016, thousands of unique telephone numbers texted “Hillary” or some derivative to the 59925 text number, which had been used in multiple deceptive campaign images tweeted by Mackey and his co-conspirators.
How many people posted memes along the lines of "donald trump ballots can be delivered at your local trash can"? apparently anybody who did so is guilty of "election interference"
A joke (telling people to turn in their ballot in a funny place) that was probably made every other day leading up to the election by libtard hacks like Colbert and Kimmel, suddenly becomes a federal crime when its made by a random right winger online...and pay no attention to the fact that this ruling is a BLATANT 1st amendment violation
Anyway, If youre voting for hillary/biden or whatever satanic libtard the left props up, go ahead and turn in your ballot in hell where they/them will live for eternity once their done ruining our world
