No. Coaching needs to step up. AD needs to step up. Reaves needs to step up. Rui needs to step up. DLo needs to step up. Can't expect Bron to carry these scrubs like it's '07 in Cleveland.

Bron will due his part. In the first game of the season, versus arguably the best team in the league, he showed you that he's still HIM.

In the first game of the season, versus the defending champs who were playing like it was game 7 in the NBA Finals, I'm not worried if I'm the Lakers. They have plenty of games left to figure it out, and Bron and his minutes aren't the problem. Actually, he could have played less minutes. AD should be doing something.....

LeBron James opened up his 21st season by being limited to 29 minutes in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 119-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. Lakers coach Darvin Ham said the tapered workload for the 38-year-old superstar is part of the team’s plan moving forward (https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38738920/darvin-ham-says-lebron-james-29-minutes-line-lakers-plan). “It’s easy with him to get caught up in the emotion of the game and you tend to forget you want to play these long stretches, but in order for him to be as effective as possible, we have to be mindful of the minute output and how long his stretches are,” Ham said.

Jovan Buha: LeBron on his minutes: “You always want to be on the floor. … I guess there’s a system in place and I’m going to follow it.” (https://*********.com/social/)

I agree with OP. I'd love to see the Lakers super team end up in the lottery again this year.

How many minutes do you want a 38 year old player playing?
