I don't think anyone is going to really care about a big game from Embid in the regular season anymore.

He has to play much better when it matters for him to get the recognition he and his fans want him to have.

He bombs out of the playoffs almost every single year. And it's not just that he loses, it's how he does it with his production falling off a cliff and the non stop floor diving and flopping.

Nobody talks about it but in 2019 he had an absolutely loaded roster with prime Jimmy Butler and other All Stars, and he played like dogshit against Toronto in a series they lost by a single miracle kawhi shot. If he plays 4/10 instead of 2/10 they easily win that series.

His latest Game 7 made Kobe’s 6/24 look like a masterpiece. After last year he’s officially in James Harden territory, where I don’t give a shit what he does in the regular season until he proves himself in the playoffs.
