People will behave a whole different way if it means they are getting the attention they desire. Remember when pranks started to get more and more fake around 2014-2016? You had OG pranksters like Vitaly and Fousey who later admitted that they would hire actors for crazy prank ideas. Then more YouTubers started jumping on the pranking bandwagon and now everyone questions whether a prank is real or not. The genre of YouTube pranks basically died in 2016-2017.
