there's no doubt Hamas is horrible and needs to be eliminated...but any captured prisoner will be co-erced and or threatened into saying anything to help the IDF's public image at this point. the IDF is more focused on bettering their image at the moment than anyting else because the world is starting to turn on Israel's tactics. like diamenz said previously, everyone was on Israel's side on october 7...then we saw how vicious they were and everyone's standing around looking at each other like wtf...hol up...this ain't right...oh nope, this is over the top.

Nice revisionist history there. There were pro-Palestinian (aka pro-Hamas) demonstrations literally the day after the attack, before Israel even had a chance to announce they were retaliating.
ABC News: Hundreds gather in SF to rally for freedom of Palestinians in wake of Middle East conflict (https://abc7news.com/palestine-rally-san-francisco-israel-occupation-protest-francsisco-consulate-hamas-attack/13880563/)
In response to the news of innocent people being tortured and maimed in the worst possible ways, in response to the news of women being paraded around and gang raped and killed, in response to the news of babies being found with their heads cut off... these people thought it was a great time to chant "Free Palestine". Kind of tells you where they stand, and it has nothing to do with with the manner in which Israel retaliated after the fact.
I especially love this quote from the piece:
"I'm a Jewish mom, and I believe very strongly in ending the cycle of suffering that is just bringing ongoing and infinite suffering to both Jewish people and Palestinians across the globe," said Jessie Susannah Karnatz.
"I see the attacks as self-defense. I'm not a proponent of violence. I'm a non-violent person. I think we need to talk about why these attacks might occur," said Marna Wolak, longtime supporter of Justice for Palestine.
The attacks were clearly justified you could see. They were only done "in self defense". Mind you this was a DAY after they occurred.
I dunno, sounds to me like there were at least few of you guys who were perfectly fine with what took place on Oct 7. I just wish you stopped trying to hide it. You've already been exposed in this thread as a rabid anti-jew hater.

you posted nothing to disprove my point, you simply pointed out a small technicality. when i mean everyone, i meant the majority of all nations which might as well be the world because they are allies and rule the world. there will always be people that disagree, opposition is a natural byproduct of any political conflict these days. the fact that i have to explain that to your pea sized brain no longer surprises me. sit the fvck down you dumb b1tch.

dude, so what? **** em. **** em all. who cares what some twenty year old libtard has to say?
the underlying point is that israel had the entire world's sympathy behind them. for the first time ffs! not only the people but their governments.
...and they blew it. now israel is being painted by the media as not the bad guy, but a bad actor. everyday, more and more on the national news people are seeing the horrors of what's going on in gaza. you know how easily people are swayed by shit like this. they don't understand the conflict the way we do. oct 7th is slowly being drowned out by it all. they're saying 'omg why is israel doing this'???
regardless of how you look at the slaughter of these civilians - you can call it genocide or you can call it casualties of war, the bottom line is that it's being frowned upon and i'll say it for the third time - the arab world is reaching their tipping point. if this conflict expands... ain't no coming back from that. it's bad news bears for the safety of israel. you understand this, don't you?

how many Hamas members (aka innocent women and children) does israel have to kill for you to see things their way?
5000?
10000?
100000?
Will you pledge to agree with Israels plight if they kill a million hamas members?

so long as it's only 999,999 gaza civilians killed alongside them. let's be reasonable here. remember, we have to keep public sentiment at bay.

TBH I think they could probably get away with killing all 2.2million people in Gaza... who is gonna have a problem with it? a bunch of crybabies like AOC and ilhan Omar?
If the BLM crowd ever gets too complainey about this Israel ethnic cleansing business, we can always just point out the fact that BLM was founded and organized by the same international jews that taught Hillary how to slaughter people and revel as their blood is spilled... then the antifas of the world will know theyre still on the same team as before (aka team corporate america and foreign billionaires)

sounds like the powers that be want the conflict to expand though, and on both sides. whoever orchestrated the attacks on 10/7 had to know that they were going to draw the full fire and fury of israel in response. don't sit there and tell me they only declared war and beheaded infants because they didn't expect israel to get so mad and bomb the shit out of them. they knew what the fukk was going to happen. i don't think countries like iran would be any more merciful if they were the country holding the big guns.
it's sad, it's awful and i don't want anyone innocent to die. but the reality is they wanted a war and they got one. they are free to surrender at any time.

absolutely - hamas knew exactly what they were doing... and they were hungry. although i wonder how much they anticipated israel's absolute aggression despite their hiding amongst the palestinian populace.

Last time they allowed Palestinian refugees in, they didn't end well for both countries among few others who did the same. There always are bad apples among them to ruin good things.

idk, ask the owner of those properties that took out a full value insurance policy not too long before the attack...
in any other scenario the insurance companies would fight indemnification in any scenario where a high value policy is issued so recent before the loss. rightfully so, because it's sketchy and screams fraud.

israel has possibly the best intellegence group in the world, they certainly are the best in their region...no ONE, not even the US knows more than Israel does about their own backyard...but you're telling me some 3rd world terrorist group caught them off guard? dd:facepalm

The United States and more importantly New York was caught off guard twice. It happens when leadership is weak.
