If the Mavs keep winning Luka has it in they bag.

But on Joel, Maxey, Tobi and Oubre, they are thriving in the Nurse system. The difference in these guys this year is remarkable. Nick Nurse deserves a lot of credit for what he has done.

I would say Luka and Steph are the current frontrunners.

Yeah if keeps playing like he is, maybe get his rebound numbers up slightly, I think he will be outright frontrunner for DPOY.

Nurse has given him a renewed focus on D. When he is not DX crotch chopping he is Dikembe finger waving. Seen it twice this season already, not sure if this is going to be a regular thing yet.

I have Lebron as the clear favorite as of now, Embiid in a fifteen way tie for second at the moment.

he needs to call jokic and apologize for stealing the MVP last year

Jokic didn't want it. It looked like he deliberately tanked the end of the season so he wouldn't get it again. He had his sights set on different hardware.

Hope he becomes MVP.
I have a digital NBA Top Shot Card.
That would raise in value and compensate for my other losses :D

Right now that would make him player of the week.

If we go by stats & RS record this early on I'd say Luka is the front runner for MVP as of right now.

Luka was the front runner for MVP last season for the first month. Being able to keep that pace for the year and the Mavs record will obviously be the determining factors, but Luka has been at MVP level individually for the last 3 years now at least.

yeah that might be the case I think he was the least excited MVP ever even still he was pretty clearly the MVP last year

guaranteed he would have won it any other year if not for voter fatigue. no one wants to give it to a player 3 years in a row, we've seen this before.

I have Lebron as the clear favorite as of now, Embiid in a fifteen way tie for second at the moment.

Russell has been the Lakers' MVP thus far. He's responsible for them getting two out of their three wins.

Luka's been balling to start the season. His team is winning also.
