Absolutely pathetic. How many years did Jordan play compared to Lebron? Does anyone not understand that this shows that the only reason Lebron gets defensive rebounds is because throughout the years, he stood around and didn’t play defense?

Look how long it took Lebron to pass Mike in offensive rebounds. And people talk about how good his rebounding is when Bird averaged 10 a game for his entire career. Un athletic Bird who played alongside Perish and Michael, averaged 10.

Lebron needs to be called out for all this. I thought he was bigger, faster, stronger, thicker, superior in every way. What gives?

So Jordan beats him in every category.

Only took LeBron 11 seasons to pass MJ in assists, MJ played 15 seasons.

Jordan was plain and simply a superior player. Everyone knows this.

Absolutely pathetic That you care about this. James and Jordan are both players that could have averaged more rebounds if that was their focus but didn't.
Last season Jayson Tatum averaged more rebounds than Jordan did for any season of his career. Does that mean anything at all? No, it does not.

This is what happens when people who didn't watch basketball back then try to comprehend numbers OP lol. Variables.

One of the biggest lies is that Lebron can guard 1 to 5.

In reality, he's always been a big guard, not even a big forward, he's struggled against pretty much all normal sized power forwards.

Remember how David West sonned him?

He locked up Jokic while AD was getting manhandled.

Just another thing LeBron's surpassed Jordan in. It's getting embarrassing at this point.

Neither MJ or Lebron focused on rebounding as a primary thing but you'd expect a guy way taller and heavier to get more offensive rebounds. The truth is he padded his rebounding totals Westbrook style to a pretty big degree.

So because he could have averaged more rebounds he was padding his rebound stats... that's what you just wrote here.

If it were true that he was padding rebounds then he wouldn’t have such an uptick in the playoffs.

Having said that, pretty much everyone other than smaller guards try to pad rebounds to a degree. The all steal from each other.

Angry Old Hoops did a video on Lebron's 13 rebounds from a recent game and found that every single rebound was padded and completely uncontested - opponents don't battle Lebron for rebounds, especially on FT's.. it was quite an amazing video to see Lebron grab 13 uncontested rebounds - the video showed every single rebound.

Ball-dominators like Westbrook or Lebron can pad rebounding numbers super-easy and steal rebounds from their bigs like Love or Bosh - both of these guys saw rebounding and assist declines alongside Lebron's ball-dominance

Name-calling doesn't change the fact that Lebron pads his rebounding numbers and his Westbrook ball-dominant style steals rebounds from his bigs and gets a lot of uncontested rebounds

Endless blather doesn't change the fact that Lebron james is one of the greatest players of all time.

Lebron plays way further from the basket than Jordan did on offence. He's usually outside the three point when he doesn't have the ball in his hand. Not a lot of offensive rebounds out there.

He also got locked up by Murray and probably still has nightmares about it.

the game has changed. Most teams prefer getting back in transition D now than pounding the offensive glass. Typically stupid thread

Jordan confirmed superior at:

*retiring in the league for more than once
*having a lot of butthurt and insecure casual fans
*hogging the ball
*getting his own dad killed
*being shackled to one specific player
*owning the worst franchise in the league

If he plays the same for the next 21 years, he will only have a few hundred left to go to catch up to Dr. J

“I came here for one reason and one reason only, and that was to win championships,” LeBron James said. “That was my only goal. That was the only reason I teamed up with [Dwyane] Wade and [Chris] Bosh. Because I felt like I couldn’t do it in Cleveland. (https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38833450/lebron-james-same-player-miami-stint) We couldn’t. … I tried to recruit guys to come to Cleveland. I tried to go and help the upstairs and it wasn’t happening. So I had an opportunity to be a free agent so I did what I thought was best, not only for my career but for me at that point in time.”
