Lakers have filed a formal complaint with the NBA alleging that Lebron doesn't get to shoot enough free throws.

Teams coaches and players have always whined to get calls. Writing a letter is a higher level of that but it's basically the same thing. Whatever. Lakers had better have a real plan to improve beyond these kinds of tactics. O don't know how they get a third star or inject 2-plus athletic defenders but otherwise I don't see this as a potential champion. And that's assuming James and Davis stay healthy, which is doubtful.

Interesting that the very next game, Lebron shoots 11 free throws - the most of anyone on both teams. I guess the Lakers' ploy worked.
