Bucks are repeating the Celtics' mistake from last year. I feel better about him now but Mazzulla shouldn't have been in charge of a team with championship aspirations as his first coaching job. Feeling the same way about Griffin. He could become a good or even great coach but in this first year he's doing a lot of learning while he's supposed to be providing his guys with expert guidance. A team that is going for the championship should have a coach they can be sure of. To get more specific, this is only the second game where I'm paying attention to the Bucks this season so take it with a grain of salt but what I'm seeing is two stars trying to do everything. All of Lillaird's shots so far have been difficult, required for him to make a star play. Kind of similar fire Giannis except that with Giannis overwhelming physical talent he's really only going to struggle if he tries to take jumpers. Milwaukee needs to make all those roleplayers useful. They're in the NBA, there are things that they are good at, surely they can help you offensively?

Mavs have nobody to guard Giannis. And Kyrie really has to step up better here. Luka is the only bright spot right now for Dallas.

Wouldn't be surprised if Irving isn't an allstar this year. Not that he isn't good enough but his role is a bit reduced from what it has been and that could cost him.... as I type this he got his first bucket. Over 10 minutes into the quarter.

Guarding Giannis is like being in an MMA fight. This dude spins and swings his elbows around with reckless abandon. I just saw this guy smash Exum in the face with no call. How do you guard it?

Luka doing Luka things again. Irving/Jones shooting blanks.

Luka and Kyrie have really worked out really well this season, big props to Kyrie for willingly stepping down and fitting in.

He also shoots it right away if getting an open look from Luka, that's exactly what you need to do, because Luka doesn't do that, but does do it more now than previous seasons.

Kyrie really flipped a switch after halftime.

They should have gone for nurse bt instead. As griffin wasn't a full-time hc before.

Mavs role players bricking everything.

Bad rotations by Kidd.

Should have had Kyrie in there sooner.

Dame is really like a more aesthetic James Harden.

Kyrie really flipped a switch after halftime.

Wasn't enough. That bogus 3pt foul call on Dame ended it.

This Bucks team is scary when Middleton is back.

Kidd keeping Powell in the game in the clutch... why?

Dame is a foul baiter and thus unlikeable.

The Bucks role players won them this game.

Luka and Kyrie outplayed Giannis and Dame by a little bit duo for duo.

But guys like Pat C. couldn't miss from 3.

Pat Connaughton is better than anyone on Mavs not named Luka or Kyrie and he's their 4th or 5th best guy.

Mavs role players choked this one.

The game nowadays is really just a 3pt contest lol.

Stars get free throws and then it comes down to if your role players hit 3s.

Luka is probably absolutely furious that he didn't get a triple double. :oldlol:

Love seeing this douche bag get owned by other stars. :applause:

lillard is going to win the best free throw shooter this year ... deadly from the line.

This is the beginning for the Bucks .. they are coming into their own.

middleton was out , because they are protecting him w/minutes.
this was a back to back

I don't think Luka did anything wrong, he can't stay in front of Dame, but he played good defense still.

This was on Kidd and keeping Kyrie out too long and playing Powell in the clutch.

Once Luka screamed at the ref then missed that completely unnecessary 3 in transition the whole energy changed and he gave up and hoped Kyrie would save the day. Giannis was not going to let his team lose.

Also holy shit@that Wiggins shot right then.
