what, Adam Silver, didn't think we'd notice?

might have to skew it more, game was too close.

I didn't watch this game so I have no idea but you do realize that teams attack the paint more than others, right? And this can vary on a night by night basis.

Did you watch the game?

Since all we're doing is quoting boxscores, the Rockets rank #24 in FTA per game and the Lakers rank #5. I don't think it requires going any further than that.

Oh wait, I lied. I'll take the boxscores one step further.

The Rockets are the third worst team in the league at giving up free throws and the Lakers are the best.

lol.

Try harder, OP. You will find something that sticks, eventually. Just keep trying.

The league desperately wants its oldest player to be the center of the league and its most important star. I'm sure that's it.

Yeah, there's a reason the Lakers are the "best" in the league at giving up free throws. Because the refs don't call fouls on them. It was the same thing last year.

Yeah man you're probably right they want to push the > Jordan narrative so hard they're willing to rig games in favor of any team he has ever played on. This is why every single game of every single team LeBron has ever been a part of has had his team taking more free throws than the other guys. It's pretty unbelievable but it's true. Look it up. Shocked nobody has ever discussed this tbh.

It definitely has nothing to do with the Lakers being towards the bottom of the league in 3PA and just shooting far less jumpers than other teams in general. It's definitely a conspiracy.

probably hard for you to see since the dried up sperm (from lebron) in your eyes is causing your eyelids to stay shut.

I doubt it has anything to do with any kind of Jordan narrative or anything to do with Lebron for that matter. I attribute it to the Lakers using dirty information tactics. Last year, if you remember, they publicly called out the NBA refs for an alleged conspiracy to not call fouls. Now every intelligent person knew that was just silly, but it seems to have worked. After that, the Lakers started getting significantly more foul calls than their opponents. It was a psychological tactic to make the refs nervous about calling Lakers players for fouls, lest they appear unfair.

They did the same thing again this year. A very intelligent poster made a thread about it here:

http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?514758-Lakers-Complain-to-League-that-Lebron-Isn-t-Gifted-Foul-Calls

Lebron was already getting the superstar treatment. And it's not just him. Giannis, Embiid, Luka, KD, Curry, etc. all get it. But after that formal complaint, once again, the Lakers are getting far fewer foul calls than their opponents.

Now you can argue whether its for the reasons I showed, or that its about protecting Lebron, or whatever you want, but if you think they're #1 in the league in not fouling because their defense is just that stellar, then you are lost in the sauce.
