"That has been a big debate for a while now. If Michael played in this era, he would average 50 points a game. LeBron is a great talent, no doubt, and he is probably in the top 3 players that ever played with Kobe, Magic, Kareem - but Michael is right there. I don't know why you guys discuss who the GOAT is," Rodman said on ESPN's First Take.

MJ is my favorite player ever but saying he would average 50 is just ridiculous. I believe the biggest gap between MJ and the second leading scorer was roughly 8 points. Normally it was more like 3-5.

But now all of a sudden he would score 15+ more than anyone? Get real.

Sure, 50 is a bit of an exaggeration, but if he averaged 37 in a far tougher era, it's not a stretch at all to think he would average in the 40s in this current era.

Jordan's biggest issues would have been off the court stuff. He was saved by living in an era with no iphones

The late Michael Jordan averaged 20 ppg when he played for the Wizards

He was very lucky he played in the 1990’s. That stuff he did would get him suspended in today’s nba
