Nugs down 17 in Houston at HT. Slumping after the good start.

Last year they were able to withstand Murray missing some games due to having a stronger bench with Bruce Brown and Uncle Jeff.

This year they look like a team who's great when healthy but can NOT afford to miss anyone to injury.

They kinda beat the odds by being completely healthy throughout the playoffs last year. They're gonna have to hope they can push their luck again this year.

Nuggets are an average team at best without Murray.

Jokic has been the best player in the league for the last four years.

No one in the league is going to win with their best teammates injured though.

You mean since 2020/2021? You‘re counting this year as one of the last 4?

You can multiply by two. That's cute.

Denver went 48-34 when Murray was out for the season. They started 10-7 last year with Murray.

I watched them a few times last year and they seemed like they were on cruise control. They are getting everyone's best shot now that they are defending champs and are relying on a bunch of young guys off the bench. I don't think they are too concerned.

Jokic seems concerned. He doesn't like losing. Clearly frustrated when he plays subpar like yesterday. Stats say otherwise but he had a really bad game.

I've seen teams sending double teams at him late which seems to be catching him off guard. I would expect him to adjust.

His shooting has been off for at least two weeks now. Takes too many threes and they are not falling. But even from much closer range he misses many shots he usually makes. He is still the best player in the league but a bit off lately. He will get back to his normal self though. He just misses some shots he shouldn't. Plus his teammates miss tons of shots. He should average like 12 assists a game the way he is passing. Reggie Jackson is a huge downgrade from Murray. Not just individually but chemistry wise as well. I really dislike Reggie's game.
