They need wings that are great defensively to make up for Lillaird's shortcomings but he's shown that he's a dangerous as anyone in the clutch offensively. So some better 3 and D guys are what's needed for the trade to have been worthwhile. It's hard to be a good defense when you have to hide someone but he's worth it.

They cannot be consistent this way.

Props to Brook Lopez though! He's been playing great!

takes time to evolve ...

I actually think their sophmore SF beauchamp should play the 2 instead of Malik.

The Bucks have a clutch player in Khris Middleton... they should think about trading Damian Lillard for a guy like Jrue Holiday or something.

I've made posts here saying Bud is the greatest Regular Season coach in recent history.

They got rid of him like dummies. They'll never recover.

the team as a whole hasn't paid much attention to their stats on hockey assists and screen assists.

good tradeoff

they need the clutch scoring more. very obvious from watching their playoffs runs the last 5 years.

The Bucks defense is ranked just 21st in the league.

This just drives home the importance of a PG defender, who can disrupt the opponent's entire offense, because the play begins with the PG. IE: Watching Jrue Holiday mess up the Warriors offense by hounding Curry and suddenly running the play isn't so easy anymore.

We talk endlessly about the 'rim protector' defender and probably not enough about the ball-handler disruptor defender.

Gary Payton and PatBev do the same thing but maybe not as well as Jrue because of his size.

10 4 .

holiday first three qtrs of every game last year and playoffs was lik 1 -12 then hit 5 shots in the fourth , and everyone thought he did it all..
:facepalm

he is now matched up with hero baller Tatum. Brown scores 3 qtrs to get his Celtics a lead of 10 points , then Tatum swishes a 3 and people say look at tatum :facepalm

I bet Bucks beat Celtics in the playoffs.

They are starting Malik Beasley, someone who's a bit of a turnstile himself defensively. If they had a better 3 and D SG this wouldn't be a thread.

They have new defensive schemes under the new coach that they have to get used to

They'll be fine come playoff time is not as if the Bucks don't have good defensive players (Gianni's,Lopez,Crowder)

Beasley is a 6th man. That's a problem
