Bro, Toody is Top 5 in 1st quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 2nd quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 3rd quarter rebounds, Top 5 in 4th quarter rebounds.

So he’s top 5 in four major statistical categories.

So even though he ranks lower than Sabonis in rebounds, and is also nowhere near 20 points and 7 assists per game to boot, he’s better than him.

Because… rebounds.

Toody is better than the guy who rebounds more than him. But also better than everyone else that he rebounds more than.

This guy literally listed rebounding 6 times as if they were additional accolades

He's not 2nd in DWS, he's 25th. His teammate Edwards is 2nd. Gobert's VORP undermines his individual value(79th league-wide and 5th on his own team). This tells us the Wolves are a good collective team and that's why they're 2nd in the league standings.

I'd say he's probably in that 8-10th best Center range and it isn't outlandish he's not in the OPs list.

So Toody was trash last year?

Ninth place finish in the conference and a first round beat down to a guy who “plays no defense” and won the NBA championship.

Either Toody was trash last year or “but but but nah uhh thats differenttttttttt.”

Just keep adjusting the angles as needed each year so that Toody is never not a top 5 player.

No. The team around him is a lot better and healthier and have all bought in defensively. Jokic plays D otherwise they wouldn't have won it all. What have I adjusted and when did I call him a top 5 player? We're talking top 8 centers. Try staying between the posts

as far as rebounding goes Gobert has a higher total rebound and offensive rebound % despite playing next to another big. Sabonis has him on the defensive glass where Kat does most of his work and shares the load with Gobert

Um….

Jokic
Embiid
Anthony Davis if he counts
Bam
Sabonis
Rudy/KP I can’t call it

Wemby, Chet, and Sengun I’m not informed enough about yet. I’ve seen them all play but not enough to be confident in a ranking right now. Not gonna just throw them somewhere for the sake of a listing.

Id consider putting Brook Lopez as a tie with those last two if he played more and his role didn’t vary so much game to game. He is quite a bit better than his numbers at times.

KAT I don’t know what to do with. We calling him a center?

Which guys would be SF or PF in previous eras? The physicality aspect is valid, but players are not smaller today. They’re actually bigger.

Sabonis is the exact same size as Mourning. Adebayo is an inch shorter but almost 20 pounds heavier.

Jokic and Embiid are considerably heavier than any great big in previous eras outside of Shaq.

Sengun is the same size as Patrick Ewing.

Etc.
