The Clippers traded for James Harden and immediately lost something like five or six games in a row.

Then they won three out of four or four out of five or something like that.

Then yesterday they looked terrible against a very injured opponent.

Maybe it's too soon to figure them out? It's always interesting when a team on paper has a bunch of stars but on the court you know they will have a rough time maximizing the talents of all those Stars

I was shocked to see Deandre Jordan and Reggie Jackson lead the Nuggets to victory! So I'd say no.

What a lot of people may not have noticed is that Plumlee, whos been a really nice backup center for them, went out with injury around the time they got Harden, and they only just acquired Daniel Theiss - another nice backup big - to replace him around the time they started getting a few wins with Harden.

So it may have been less about any early lack of chemistry with James and then magically finding it or whatever, verse the fact that they only had 1 big man the first half dozen games with Harden, and then they finally added another one and got some balance back.

That said, I do not believe they are a championship team regardless.

Despite all their collective talent I don't believe that combination of players and personalities can win a championship. I'm not seeing anything that indicates they will even go far in the playoffs. If they make it.

It's a waste to pay so much on-ball talent. Diminishing returns. If one star is controlling the ball, the other two ball dominant stars really can't possibly play up to their contracts. PG is really the only guy you can get a lot out of playing alongside anyone else (and of course he stunk last night).
