I guess it never occurred to him that wetting the bed in games 6 and 7 (and several other playoff games) might factor into Morey's decision.

If Harden shows up to game 6 or 7 and they win vs Boston, he's got his max. Instead he simply quit like the bum he is and has always been.

If you essentially breach your contract before it's formally extended, dont expect it to end up being extended.

So a bunch of conspiracy theories have become more popular in recent weeks.

It is now claimed by some that Harden and Morey we both in on the whole thing and they still love each other.

The theory is that Morey wanted to give James the money but ownership did not. Morey then told James to opt in and and make it out like he got screwed and make it look ridiculous to create a cover (hence the China thing), he will then get traded where he wants.


Morey has admitted that there were PR specialist involved in the whole situation.
