Is Joel Embiid an excellent passer?

He's at 6.6 assist per game now. It's good for the 13th best ast/gm this season, ahead of guys like Lebron, Harden, Garland, etc. Not bad for a center but I haven't heard anyone praising this part of his game. Is he an excellent passer or not?

He's probably the most double teamed player in the league so by default those assists will go up

His assist numbers are up because of Nick Nurse's offense and thy players he has around him now.

The two mam game with Maxey is a big reason and so is having players that can cut to the right areas when he is doubled. He seems to hit Covington at least once a game for an easy layup. That clearly didn't happen last year.
