I think this is what everyone is so hung up over. It's value and what that means going forward. It's not an NBA title, but it's a tournament title, honestly seems like an abbreviated version of a FIBA cup. A FIBA medal isn't the same as an Olympic medal but it's a medal nonetheless. If it sticks it will build its own prestige over time.
