Lebron and AD have now brought a ring, set the IST standard and made a conference final as a low seed. While you can't say Lebron is a top five Laker of all-time this has been a successful tenure for a player to join the franchise.

Mikan, West, KAJ, Magic, Kobe should be the clear top five...the next five should be...

Shaq, Wilt, Elgin, Lebron, and now maybe AD

Wilt is the most overrated Laker, choked 2 Finals, still pretty damn good, but past his prime as a player. West was the better player of the two during Wilt's time there.

Interesting I would say making a finals every year at the end of your career which is better than what Shaq did...leave a contender because you couldn't stay in shape and you hated your teammate.
