He looked good in the highlites. Certainly can see a lot of pops in his play. See what he does against elite competition

So we're in agreement this was 100% cocaine not a "genetic issue" "vaccine".

NO, heart defects were never a thing until the covid vaccine was created. actually, no one in the history of our species has ever experienced heart issues or strokes.

I remember when all the stans were trying to say Bronny was 6′ 6″ when he was in high school and I was always saying Bronny was clearly like 6′ 2″ at best. Dude is absolutely PG height, but doesn't have nearly enough quickness/athleticism with his live dribble nor is he an elite sharpshooter.

I hope he stays healthy and lives a long life, but I do NOT see an NBA player in him. He is relegated to chucking threes or the occasional fast break bucket. He could stay in college four years and I still don't think he would develop into an NBA player...

A few years ago I was really hoping Bronny would have a big growth spurt and end up close to Lebron's height so at least with that size/athleticism, a team would draft Bronny on real NBA potential. Now I fear it will be almost a clown sideshow/WWE type entertainment move where Bronny ends up in the NBA SOLELY because of who his dad is. I want to see them play together in the NBA at least once, but only if Bronny is a legit NBA player - not a situation where Giannis got his AWFUL brothers into the NBA who clearly aren't NBA players. It's messed up that happens since there are so many players grinding every day to get a rare NBA spot.

It might have been a heart issue if he waited a year...but back on the court in six months. It was drugs it was something cleaned out of his system and now he's fine.

Wow. 4 points in 17 minutes.

First round draft pick for sure.

Kudos, OP. This was threadworthy.

Impressive. Beating the Pacers and all. Just cemented himself in the all time top 15 for sure.

And someone made a 4 minute highlight video about a guy who made ONE BASKET.

I've watched Bronny a lot, he's got a legit shot at the NBA on his own merits. He looked really solid on the court today. Think about it: coming off a major heart problem, first-ever college game in high major, everyone in the world watching. And he played well. Had an incredible chase down block (he'll have a lot of those this year), had a very clutch steal, some crazy rebounds, deflections, another steal, a couple of assists, one in the open court, another in the half court. Both very smart, immediate quick decision passes that show high-level processing speed. Jumper form looked good, he knocked down a clean one, but didn't really take enough attempts.

He is absolutely as good an athlete as needed to be to be a point guard, shorter 2Guard defender in the NBA. Super quick hands, incredible reflexes, a powerful frame he can still make stronger and he moves his feet very well. He's a strong, powerful little guard. About a legit 6'1.75" or 6'2" dead on without shoes. IDK about his standing reach and wingspan. Optimistically, he's got a 6'5" wingspan with an 8'1-8'4" standing reach, but then again, maybe it's more like 7'10" and 6'3" wingspan. Either way, he's got a motor and is incredibly bouncy, even from a standstill. Functionally, he's a legit 6'3" guard with above average all-around athleticism.

He is a good shooter with deep range. Compact mechanics and he gets into his shot easily. He can shoot it out to 28 feet. He is not a crazy playmaker, but he's a sound one who doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He knows how to move off ball, cut to the basket, make the right pass. He processes information quickly, like his dad.

His biggest hurdle is his inability to create his own shot. He is largely incapable of creating an advantage with a defender on him, but he can attack closeouts for midrange jumpers and floaters, layups and dunks. I think ideally he would stay in college until he's like 21, but he'll probably be implicitly rushed out by his dad's plans.

Overall I think he can be a very sound 3&D guy. I hope he can develop his creation ability though, it's stalled majorly in the last 5 years.

Tough for Bronny to not add at least another 2 inches considering he profiles as a 3/D/secondary ballhandler with his lack of shot creation. You can only be so positive on D at 6'2.

Also has some chucker named Kobe on the team:lol

A couple plays he got off the floor pretty effortlessly, and that was the only 'this is Lebron's kid' display of genes I really saw. I wouldn't make much of anything yet because we don't know what he will become, but his parental lineage will probably keep him in the spotlight more than his on-court play warrants, at least now. There are probably multitudes of better players making their debuts that ESPN won't make a highlight package for.

depends on his wing span more than height

With his dad's help he'll be ROY for sure. You know the Lakers are obligated to draft him. I'd laugh if some GM drafted him out of spite just to park his ass far away from LA
