The top three are Wemby, KD, and MPJ Jr. Porter Jr isn't listed for some reason but he's stated as having the third-highest shot release on three-point shots.

I was sure this would be about Kevin Mchale or Phil Jackson.

How do Dame and Kyrie have higher release points than KAT? And Mitchell over Lebron and Brook Lopez... some of these little guys really jumping on their jumpers. Meanwhile steph and Trae are flicking it from the wrist barely getting up. I guess if your shot release is quick enough you don't need to jump. KD is the true king here though. I'd like to see Dirks metrics, gotta be up there too.

KD's shit is nuts. Cuz he's money and can get it off any time. Dude really is one of the greatest scorers of all time. It's too bad his legacy is kinda weird. He's def one of the most unique players of all time. Also too bad he's kinda a weirdo. Def a fan of his game tho, holy shit. Esp back when he was playing all nba D, too, wow. Dude is just a bball machine.

Like there's no way KD GSW weren't the best team ever. No ****ing way. Don't even care about a dominant big. There was just too much scoring and their D was good on the perimeter, too.

KAT has a 9"1 standing reach. It's impossible his shot release is at 8"5. Without jumping he's 8 inches above that.

It's not impossible, who do you think shoots at the top of their standing reach?? lol. But yea 8 inches is a bit crazy. I'd have to see a pic...

He seems like he releases higher than that often, but in a case like that, it's possible.

in that case, it's prol not.

I know he doesn't get lift on his jumper and neither does Lopez but they still high point release the ball. They'd have to be throwing chest passes at the rim for these metrics to be totally true.

The KAT number is believable. He shoots his threes like a set shot: feet don't leave the ground. He also shoots more outward if that makes sense. Kind of like how Haliburton does it.

Lamelo's standing reach is probably around 8'6 but his shot release is 10 inches below that.

Are there stats on players that get their shot blocked the most? I realize that most of these are at the rim but was just curious

LaMelo and Lonzo Ball do have a really awkward shooting form. Almost like a chest pass at the rim. I think Kevin Martin was like that too. KAT doesn't jump much but I never seen his release as being like that. I think it's because this graph is only counting 3s. Inside a little bit he high points it.

Ingles shot from lower when he joined the Jazz before working on shooting over his head with a quicker release

Standing reach is with your hands stretched as high up as you can. He's releasing out in front of his face.
