So if I take a three point shot and my defender blocks it into the back court, whoever picks it up next gets credited with a rebound? Because it was a field goal attempt?

Also if I'm driving and the ball gets blocked, how do you know if it was a shot or a pass if it doesnt get to the basket? What if I'm throwing a lob and it gets blocked, that counts as a missed field goal?
