Are there any great video game consoles that cost $100 or $150?

I don't feel good about investing $500 or more into a PS5 and then having to spend 50 to 100 bucks per game or whatever. That's just like a lot of money.

So four games would be like $700 including the console?

In this economy?!

while i agree video game consoles and games are priced astronomically, i also think inflation is going up like a 747 on takeoff. $700 today will be like $1100 by next summer.

Haha great video game consoles for $150? This ain't 1990 bub.

If you want to game in that range, get yourself a retro console and buy some cheap games. Or, get a Steam Deck and some cheap Steam keys from a site like CDkeys, download Retroarch on there and put all the old shit from past generations on there. I got one loaded up with games from NES to PS3.
