16-7, 69% winning percentage, 4th best record in the entire NBA.

We are 23 games into the season, so I think we're far enough long for the data to be relevant.

They've won 8 of their last 10 games.

Their top players are:
https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/orl/orlando-magic

Paolo Banchero, 20 PPG
Franz Wagner, 20 PPG
Cole Anthony, 15 PPG

They don't seem to have a monster rebounds or a guy that gets a lot of assists.

IDK anything about this team as I've never watched them.

They beat Milwaukee and held them under 100 pts (https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401584801)
They beat the Nuggets - although without Murray (https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401584854)

Thoughts?

I saw 3 of their games. They won all three and it didn't seem to be overachieving. The team was just solid top to bottom. Their first halves were outstanding, second halves okay. What might hurt them is I didn't see a leader on the team. So when it gets tough in the playoffs it will be interesting to see which player will emerge. Doesn't have to be their best player just someone that gets the team on the same page. I didn't see that guy. That aside, good team but not a contender. They can make it out of the second round if the matchup is right.

I love small market teams who are playing great

I just don't trust teams that don't have any elite players. Hope they keep proving me wrong

Could probably use some more vets that have been there before. Have Ingles and Harris

their transition defense is there, so you either need an athletic wing to take on the guards, or turn them into a jump shooting team

Their schedule over the next few weeks will be rough. It should give a good indicator as to how good they really are.

Legit as in contenders? Of course not. Too young and no stars.

Plus sample size too small still.

A lot of good players that play hard. Expect them to be in the playoffs.

3 straight losses, granted against the two top teams in the conference. They might not be ready for a playoff run yet.

Not with Wendell getting any meaningful minutes

Franz Wagner was the best player on the World Champions.

People need to start paying attention to FIBA competition. It's for real now.

Paolo was one of few highlights of the US FIBA team.

Basically they have two very good FIBA players so that means they'll be a good team.

The Jazz have at least a couple good FIBA players and they aren't a good team
