For the longest time, Trump was mostly loved by everyone. His face was all over. He appeared in TV, movies... on daytime talk shows, on late night talk shows, Howard Stern etc. The Apprentice was one of the most popular shows in the country and everyone in the world loved repeating "You're Fired".

Fast forward to the early 2010's and Trump lost some of his good will when he dared to critique the holy black president. Devout lefties were none too pleased. He was still welcome though. He would appear on Fox News one day but could still appear on a comedy central roast the next day. He was still Donald Trump.

When he first announced he was running for president, the left was mostly indifferent at worst and curious at best. They didn't think he had any real shot at winning but they enjoyed watching the circus. A small part of them agreed and identified with what he was saying, especially when it came to the corruption and ineptitude of our leaders.

The left was still behind Hillary but there was a certain guilty pleasure in entertaining the thought of Trump. Even though he was running as a republican, he was still welcome in their circle. He hadn't yet been written off as the second coming of Hitler yet even though the political news media desperately tried. He appeared on all the late night talk shows, he was a guest on SNL, etc. all in spite of this.

Once it became clear the election was coming down to Hillary and Trump, the left thought it was a no brainer. On one hand you have this wonderful, smart, savvy woman who's sharp as a tack and was born to be a politician. On the other side you had a dumb oaf with zero experience and zero class. The polls all had Hillary as a the surefire winner. In their mind only a dumb, racist, sexist backwards thinking person could possibly vote for Trump.

And then it happened, Mommy Hillary lost. How? She was so smart. She was so perfect. It was HER time. What happened??? Is the country really that sexist and racist!?!? It has to be! What else could possibly be the reason?!? She was so perfect!

That is when their whole worldview changed. That is when they learned the world is a scary and dark place, sort of like when a child first learns they're going to die one day. They felt angry and betrayed.

Trump and his voters took the world from them, and they're never going to get over it. And to prove to you just how much they hate Trump voters... they are going to wear ten masks, get five booster shots and declare that a woman can have a pen*s.
