I will put myself out there as a complete nonbeliever. I don't think their stars will stay healthy (hope I'm wrong here) and don't believe in them vs elite teams. Although Phoenix may be just as screwed when it comes to health, situation with Beal had been rough and KD is likely to miss 20+ games.

Yeah, I was actually going to make a thread about this, but now I don't need to. Clips have been climbing the rankings, beating good teams, and looking good.

They've even been winning when Paul George is out.

But every year they find a way to throw it all away, so I'm not very optimistic just yet.

And once they moved Westbrook to the bench and he was fine with that role, they neutered his cancer-effect.

Thats a luxury the Lakers didnt have.

They got decent roll players in Norman Powell, Zubac, Hyland too. Looks like Harden is fitting in and taking some load off PG and Kawhi thus them not being injured. Harden has Kawhi, PG, Zubac to mask his defence deficiency.

Lue has an obsession with taking contributing roleplayers and shoving them in a permanent doghouse. Covington last year, Tucker and Hyland this year. I hate to see Tucker's last years become DNP galore.
