No, the Pacers were never going to be anything more than a play-in team this year. Which is why the IST is a joke to everyone who's not a Bronie fluffer.

If he did, then he also demoralized the Lakers. Pacers are 1-4 since the IST, so pretty good case for demoralization. The Lakers however have used the Championship to charge ahead to a 1-3 record afterward. And they even managed to beat the Spurs one out of two.

Lakers blew their wad by going all out for Lebron to win the IST, while all the other teams were treating it like regular seaon games. Pretty soon Lebron's going to have to sit out and rest up for the playoffs. You'll see.
