I feel like for a while this was taken seriously, nowadays clock management at the end of quarters is often ignored.
Look at the Bucks just now to end the half against New York.
Had the last shot, took it with 7 seconds left, miss, and Knicks get them on a buzzer beater.
Is this not preached anymore?
Its so simple.

it’s simple yet it doesn’t work out 100% of the time
i didn’t watch the play you are talking about but I assume he found an open look with 7 seconds and just took it.
sometimes you will make it sometimes you won’t
this stuff happens in every game it’s probably just gotten heightened to you right now because you are gambling on it

The Bum is great at it. Dribbles out the clock and throws up a prayer. At least the other team doesn't get a shot unless he dribbles it off of himself which he's really good at too

Ive seen this recently as well. Teams dont properly plan the final shot anymore and go into their set too early.
