It's Jokic for me. I'm Hungarian. Was born in Budapest. It is Sombor for Jokic. It is like 200 miles from here. For a very long time (close to 1,000 years), Sombor was a part of Hungary. Borders have changed in 1920. Sombor is now... I don't know... 15 miles from the Hungarian border? Something like that. So a Sombor shuffle is almost a Hungarian shuffle.

Probably Derrick Rose (Chicago) for me (downstate Wisconsin). It’s roughly a 110-mile distance from my place.
We haven’t seen any MVP-level Wisconsin-born players yet. Haliburton might become the first, though his birthplace (Oshkosh) is almost just as far away from me as Chicago. :oldlol:

You want me to look up every MVP in NBA history's birthplace to answer your question?

It would be Kobe and Wilt who were about 40 minutes away then Dr J who is about an hour and then Kareem and Cousy who were in the city.
