Does Greyson Allen actually deserve a "dirty" reputation since he joined the NBA?

When Grayson Allen joined the Suns I was mad I'd have to root for him because I'd been led to believe he was some horribly dirty player thanks to some clips from his college days, but I've been waiting to see if the reputation is deserved. And not once have I seen a dirty play from him still. Dude hasn't even had a single flagrant or even a tech.

Starting to think his reputation was all hype from his college days. I know he had that 1 play that got Caruso injured, but even that looked pretty accidental. :confusedshrug: Is there any other evidence that against him being dirty in the NBA?

He's been dirty since college. It doesn't help that he has a punch me face. He's a weird kinda dirty but yea someone needs to getm.

Bigs are gonna catch you with their elbows, dudes are gonna get tangled up, etc, but some of these guys just go too far.

He absolutely earned a dirty reputation. To his credit it's been a while now since he last did something that deserved a suspension but for a lot of people he is going to have keep his play clean for a long time to fix that rep.

Thanks I haven't seen these. Definitely some questionable decisions. Not quite as bad as the blatant college tripping clips but yeah I'm sure these plays haven't helped his case, given he already came into the NBA with a bad reputation.

Makes sense. Idk I barely watched him over the years, my only exposure to him were the college clips and the Caruso incident, and a couple games here and there where I don't remember anything happening.

I remember before the season in an interview he claimed he said he was immature and still acting like a kid in a man's sport, and had to grow up. Maybe he is maturing. Cause I haven't seen anything yet, dude barely even gets physical for us. We'll see though, only time will tell.

Hopefully he continues to stay clean as a Sun. Cause dude's been straight up balling recently, and I believe we have Bird rights as well. I'd rather not have to root for dudes who are playing dirty. I had the same concerns when we signed CP3, but thankfully he had a pretty damn clean tenure for us overall.

Anyway, dirty or not, wouldn't consider him to be as annoying as morant.

Allan is tough hard nose player... similar to Curuso ... but his defense is not as good.

As a Buck I thought he had to play tough defense ... but seldom contributed offensively.
That is why I thought he need to go.

Beasley on the SG bucks was a offensive weapon, and now is turning up the defense , because Dame isn't as much.
It was a good move by the Bucks, but Allan has a repetition IMO not deserved.
