Lebron was blessed with a strong body. He’s able to drive to the basket in a way very few can. But that’s not something he worked on. That’s something he was blessed with. Kobe, Mike and Curry spend so much time honing their craft. Lebron has never really mastered any skill at all. Being 6 ft 9, 280 pounds and driving to the hoop is not a skill. Not in that way.

I just don’t think he worked in the same way. It never showed. Just because he has physical ability doesn’t mean he has honed the craft. And if you mention longevity, you have to be realistic about what he’s really doing to keep himself strong. Spending a million per year on your body is not working hard. That means something else.

He used to. He hasn't put any effort into defense since 2020 though. Sandbags half his minutes on the court.

OP troll account aside, I don’t really think that has anything to do with work ethic but more so being older and prioritizing effort as best as possible.

He’s clearly worked on every aspect of his game. Yes he was more gifted than everyone, but there’s been others near or at that level that didn’t amount to anything. Much less of one the greatest ever.

OP works hard at being an idiot. It has paid off 10 fold.

He does. Look how he takes care of his body. He’s just not genetics. He’s genetics plus top teir work ethic. He just doesn’t have goat tier hand eye coordination and lacking in a few other intangibles.
