In my opinion, the two best teams that didn't win a chip in the 21 century so far. Both lost in the conference finals. Many feel the Kings lost due to bad officiating while the Rockets fell short because of a CP3 injury, both were dominant teams, both finished with the best record in the NBA, both had a top tier offense with a solid defense, different style of play. Kings loved to move the ball around while the Rockets played mostly ISO. Who wins in a 7 game series?

2002 rules or 2018 rules? That's the problem with these. Harden isn't going to be able to get away with throwing his arms in to a defender in 2002. Vlade's flopping will be more effective in 2018

Topic seems familiar.

Anyway, with the evolution of the game and the players, the 2018 Rockets are basically an improved version of the 2002 Kings.

Evolution or not, there are hardly any similarities between the two rosters.

I'd lean to the Rockets ever so slightly but it's close to a coin toss. People forget that Peja was hurt for Sac in 2002. With him healthy, they likely take out the Lakers.
