Your ballot in the West doesnt make the agenda SUPER obvious, Kić and Cić are no brainers, Domas is reasonable, Markannan is not egregious, and one could assume you added Reaves as a Lakers homer.

But obviously the East is jokes.

Tbh tho I think Sabonis has a very good case as a starter. #1 in rebounding, 8th among all players in assists (as a center) and 20 points per night on the ninth highest fg% in the league.

He also plays hard as hell and is very consistent. A lot of times when AD stuffs the stat sheet it doesnt really feel like he did. And then other nights he disappears altogether.

I think if you swap Domas and AD, the Lebron-Sabonis duo dominates every damn game and theyd be a better team. And the Kings would absolutely take a step back. Yes AD is a better defender but one guy’s defense in today’s game just doesnt carry a ton of significance. You cant run an offense thru Davis. You can just hope he happens to have energy on a given night and hits a lot of his shots.

I agree with this. When I watched the Nuggets-Kings game, it was interesting how much Sabonis and Jokic are alike in terms of impact and involvement. Sabonis plays harder and Jokic is more cerebral but their overall approach toi the game is similar. Sabonis has a bigger effect than his stats show. And his stats are really nice.
