in a regular season game. He currently sits at 1,183 consecutive games with 10pts and counting.

If ya think about it... there's been so many opportunities for him to have gotten hurt in the 1st quarter (after scoring 4pts) and was ruled out for the rest of the game. Regardless who it is, it's pretty impressive.

He did kinda do it in a big spot in the Finals.

Yeah, so if we count this Jordan would still have the longest streak in NBA history if we went by RS + Playoffs for actual consecutive 10+ pt games.

Jordan's RS' streak was 1,041 games with 10+ pts in a row, and he failed to reach the mark only once his entire run with the Bulls because he came back early from injury on minutes' restriction and played just 16 minutes in one of the games where he finished with 8 pts in '86. He never scored in single-digits in Playoffs history.

If we go RS + Playoffs for consecutive 10+ point games, Jordan's streak from '86-'01 would be 1,216 games.

Too bad Kobe never had such a streak, scored 8 points in a 2004 game vs Kings and 9 points in a 2010 game vs Sixers.

Kobe had a bunch of 1st quarter injuries too I believe and played limited minutes or just played hurt so he couldn't have put up that streak, that's usually what happens with most of the ATGs.

KB I believe is top 5 in streaks of 20+, 30+, 35+, 40+ and 50+pt games so he's done well.

You mentioned the 8 but left out the 0 points he had in less than a minute against Seattle the same season? Lol. Streak was over before that.

Do better.

Even if you discount those games where he left early because of injury, he would have never had a streak touching LeBron's due to the games I just mentioned.

Do better.

Someone demonstrations once again how superior Jordan is to James (AKA "LeShrivel").

Dudley: "Bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-but KOBE BRYANT!!!!"

:lol At least he's not trying to use Tom Brady this time.
