It’s not inconceivable they give it to Halliburton. Guys who make the jump from borderline All-Star to superstar have won it before. Ja Morant won it a couple years ago. Julius Randle was a 21/9 guy on the Pelicans but still won it for 24/10 on the Knicks.

Hali probably has the greatest increase in notoriety among these candidates and that’s a lot of it.

I saw a list and it didn't even have White on it. Hard to see how he's not in there given how he's fit so well on what has become a dominant team, but yea his stats aren't right. I don't think they will give it to him, which I think is a bit surprising, that he gets no consideration.
