Such as Kobetarded logic. Lebron is a much better player than Kobe. 4 mvp 4 finals mvp is better than 1 mvp and 2 finals mvp

Then I guess you must acknowledge that Jordan is a much better player than Lebron then.

Didn't you say you value FMVP more than anything? LeBron has more FMVP than your hero Wilt.

Yep, FMVP is the #1 criterion, but not the sole criterion. So if someone has more FMVPs, but gets blown out of the water in most other areas, they get ranked below.

I know this is very painful for your brain to try to grasp, but try.

Like what?

For starters..

Scoring

Defense

Rebounding

Heart

Toughness

I'll give Lebron the edge in passing, but really that's about it.

Ah, Heart and Toughness, the usual top 5 criterions for GOAT players.

The complete randomness and unqualifiable-ness make them personal favorites of FullRetard.

Also definitely categories Wilt was known for.

Wilt was shit on his whole career for lack of heart and toughness. :oldlol:

Did you miss the whole "scoring, defense, and rebounds" thing? Or are you just choosing to ignore it?

Because, you know, scoring and defense and rebounds comprise most of the game of basketball.

Bronie fluffers are so cute.

Didn't you yourself call Wilt "empty stats"?

I already dug in and showed you years ago how his scoring didn't improve his teams. Sixers still had a top 5 offense when he left. When Wilt was averaging 40 ppg his teams usually ranked near the bottom offensivley.

When LeBron leaves a team, they fall apart without him

Who said Wilt wasn't tough?

Arnold Schwarzenegger said Wilt was the strongest toughest human being he's ever met.

Wilt would literally smash anybody in today's league to bits. :oldlol:

You're skinny small little dude calling a 300lb Olympic athlete and one of the strongest and most athletic basketball players ever soft. What a joke lmao.

There is a difference between being strong and tough. A bunch of NBA players have said Wilt held back alot of that strength so he wouldn't hurt people. A guy like Shaq for example didn't care if he broke your arm

The rules back then were extremely strict on offensive fouling. Kblaze posted a thread showing wilt get called for one for doing a simple back down. Later on Shaq and Giannis were allowed to throw mma elbows and run people over with no call. If Wilt was allowed to do that he would've killed people.

It just wasn't in his personality to be mean, watch his interviews. He comes off as articulate, well mannered, egotistical & somewhat delusional. This is the same guy who never fouled out of a game because he wanted that on his resume, if he was tough he wouldnt care about stuff like that.

No it makes perfect sense - everyone says the rings with Shaq were a given just like people say that the Wade/Bosh rings were a given - so only the other years matter, where Kobe destroys Lebron by repeating with a 1x all-star, while Lebron mostly lost with other super-teams or sidekicks that outscored him for entire title runs (AD)

see, those numbers and rings cancel out just like i said.. so outside of the shaq or wade/bosh rings, kobe destroys Lebron by repeating with a 1x all-star, which Lebron never came anywhere near doing

and that's shows how much Lebron reduced teammates because Bosh/Wade averaged 50 ppg combined before joining Lebron, so Kobe clearly elevates teammates and allows them to play their best, while Lebron demolishes teammates and makes them worse basketball players than they were previously.

Random thought: in the 2010 finals Pau had 35 offensive rebounds. The highest Celtic had 16.

While in a vacuum the 09-10 Lakers won with a less talented roster than say the 2017 Cavs or the 2021 Suns, size really matters (as do the opponents obviously). They outrebounded everyone. Particularly on the offensive glass.

People like to simplify things like that. Same with the Nuggets last year. It's oh Jokic was amazing what a title. He WAS amazing..but the Nuggets having guys like Gordon and MPJ who are huge for their position is such an advantage.

Team strength is always relative to the era it played in and how much advantage that team had in the era's "format". The 09-10 Lakers had great era-relative talent and matched the "format" of that era where having elite post bigs, rebounding, and defense was still very important.

The 90's Bulls teams would win zero rings in the NBA that has existed over the last ten years or so. MJ would still be the best individual player, but the team as a whole would lose because they can't match the "format" with their style of play.
