I think he was just being playful about not knowing the word, but I think he was also being honest about generally not being very booksmart.

Some people aren't able to pick up on context clues to infer the meaning of a word they've never heard before.

You have to be well read and/or communicate with a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and age groups to develop that skill over time. I know I certainly didn't have it at 23 years old.

I actually think this is an example of very good media training how he handled this.

He's always seemed an imbecile to me.

So cringe. Dude was trying to clown the interviewer because he actually thought it was a word nobody knew. UK should be proud.

I don't think that's what happened here :lol

It's okay that he doesn't know what the word means. I myself probably just would have said what he said without pointing out that I didn't know the word but respect on him for doing that I guess.

The true cringe is when he gets up and tries to make a pun out of it and cant get the word right

It’s a weird word that doesn’t get used very much. Doesn’t seem like a big deal.

Such a galvanizing response from you. You're galvanizing me into using that word more often.

Galvanize is not a word used often. I'm sure like me he's heard or read it plenty before but isn't exactly sure of the meaning. Like the word penchant or vernacular.

That "dummy" makes more money in 1 month than you will make in your entire lifetime...so who's really the dumb one? With all that intelligence you have, you cant fine a way (with the 50+ years you will be granted on this earth) to generate as much money as the "dummy" can in 30 days. That should make you feel dumb actually

edit but hey at least you're smarter than him. lol thats all that matters right?

What a dumb response. By your logic, Tyler Herro is smarter than Neil Degrasse-Tyson since he makes more money than him.

Galvanization or galvanizing (also spelled galvanisation or galvanising) is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which the parts are coated by submerging them in a bath of hot, molten zinc.

This isn't logic at all, it's black culture and how they perceive money.

Actually it's very rational logic to a certain extent. If you're broke and been in struggle mode for the last 20 years since graduating, the very last thing you should have time for is sitting online commenting how stupid someone who's figured out life is.

This is not to suggest anyone who is rich is above criticism. No, but they should be above criticism from brokies. Like all of your time should be consumed figuring out how to upgrade your living situation from sharing a 3 bedroom trailer home between 7 adults, not playing twitter fingers online gossiping. :oldlol:

If I'm broke but smart, I have every right to criticize someone who sounds dumb. The amount of wealth someone has, has nothing to do with their level of intelligence. Herro isn't an NBA player because he's smart. He's an NBA player because he's talented and has the necessary physical attributes to play in the NBA. Having wealth isn't necessarily an excuse to sound like a complete dumbass.

Smart and middle class makes sense. But Smart and broke means that either you're stupider than you think, or you have a mental condition.

Either way, your time should be better spent resolving your struggle (finances or therapy/medication) than gossiping online.
