Soccer just has never interested me. It was the only sport I stopped playing at a pretty young age. The premier league has gotten pretty popular though. I know quite a few people who follow it closely along with the other sports. I can’t really get into it though.

Soccer like golf I only got into as a result of video games that gave me a better understanding of what was going on. I respect the athletic ability. The cardio especially. And it’s not as boring once you get what they’re trying to do with the gradual build ups.

He was up there for sure. That actually reminds me of the first time I played pickup ball with a guy named Sean. He was at work talking smack about dunking on guys.... Little 5'9" white guy so I am like this guy can't be for real.

We start playing 3 on 3 and he looks pretty good so I am thinking this guy has some game after all. Then I am standing right under the basket to get a rebound. I can see the ball is about to hit the rim again so I don't jump.

All of a sudden I feel someone's knees on my shoulders. I am 6'2" so I am like WTF. Turns out the really scary thing was his speed, not his hops. Fastest guy I ever played with. He went to college on a soccer scholarship.

I don't like watching soccer at all. That being said, props to this. Jumping that high or not, people that can jump and hit the ball that is being passed with their head and perfectly direct it all in one go have unreal timing and precision. That shit is tough af.

Don't like soccer either. I grew up with my dad being a soccer fanatic and it still couldn't stick. I only pay attention every 4 years when it's World Cup time. For some reason when it's a sport you don't care about country vs country is more exciting than corporate clubs.
