Proves how you can BS with statistics.

How could load management NOT reduce chance of injury? haha.

If it doesn't, they aren't doing it right.

I can already imagine many flaws in this report, like people who are load managed are already coming off injuries, etc.

Cause these things are just largely genetic and random.

If someone has a weak knee, it's going to get exposed plenty of times. Sitting out 10-20% of games doesn't reduce the risk 10-20% because the moves that will risk an injury will happen in any game anyway.

Well no $hit.

If players truly want to avoid injury then they should quit and never play basketball again. It’s a part of the game. Better to keep muscles and joints loose by playing as much as you can and getting your reps in.

Even if they are random, it still makes less chance of injury. But you can take appropriate precautions to work on strengthening etc instead of just going game pace. What would be smarter, is to teach the players to not do certain things or how to fall, etc, like we were talking about in another thread. But the thing is if you are injury prone and you need to get 5 wins to get into the playoffs and play 44 min pushing it to the max each game, then yeah it won't matter how your 'load' was managed before. People need to learn to play within their limits and still be successful. However, again, I have my theories as to why people are 'playing beyond their limits' and getting injured.

Why does the NBA have back-to-back games?
