At his peak I think he was equal to Chris Bosh. He had more longevity than Bosh, and I would have rather have him on my team over Dennis Rodman who cant score the ball.
Is Aldridge a HOFer?

@legendary trolls, this guy is up there. He's made some pretty epic 'just asking' sort of threads. This isn't one, but I couldn't think of his name.

Was a better player than Bosh - just didn't have the narrative.
Kind of like how Mitch Richmond was better than Reggie Miller.

Definitely.
It would have been much more convincing than it is if the nets actually made the finals in 2021.

No, he isn't. If he is, Amare Stoudamire, Elton Brand or Zach Randolph should also be in the Hall, and for me, those are great, great players, perennial all-stars, but definitely not Hall of Famers.

You had me with Amare, but the rest?
Aldridge was a 7x all-star 5x all-NBA. Amare a 6x all-star, 5x all-NBA. I think the both of them will get in once eligible (Aldridge final season 2022, Stoudemire 2020 in Israel).
But how are Brand and Randolph who are both 2x all-star, 1x all-NBA apiece on the same tier?

Brand and Z-Bo aren't HOFers.
LMA is as borderline as borderline can get.
Amare
Blake
LaMarcus
When you think if guys like Jack Sikma making it, LMA has a shot

Subjectively he's should not be a HOFer. But there might be players in the HOF worse than him so objectively he should be a HOFer.
He's in Joe Johnson, Tom Chambers, Antoine Jamison territory.

How Sway? Those 3 players have 3 all-NBA between them (Chambers 2x, Johnson 1x). Aldridge had 5.

Just statistically. Kinda fringe guys I guess. Accolades don't mean too much. All were upper tier players for sure.
