I didn't know Hakeem was a fighter like that. It's never brought up.

Hakeem slapped or straight punched quite a few people early in his career. He had a wild Shaq on Brad Miller style swing vs I think the Celtics that would have done some damage.

Good find.

But people have to remember- the league is soft, because YOU are soft.

Every NBA fan should say that in a mirror 10 times.

There are "men" today who are ready to call the police for "assault" because of a fight in the NBA. I can't tell if they are trans or what, but that is not a male mentality.

They cry "assault" because they were never taught to fight; so they go looking for a male authority figure to do something about it. That's their instinct from growing up. Go tattle. They do the same when they observe a fight.

Adam Silver is part of the problem himself. You need some masculinity to run a pro sports league.

But he is merely reflecting the demands of the average soft, posturing American who thinks he is tough by playing Karen and demanding an aggressive player "be suspended for life!1!!!!".

The bigger picture is we are done for as a people.
