4th quarter. Seems like few people are interested. Good game, Nuggets up by 2. 91-89, 8 minutes remaining.
Jokic is yet to play in the 4th. Through the first 3 quarters he is at 30/9/9 én 12/16 from the floor, 4/! FT and 2/2 from 3.
Murray 13/17 for 31 points.

This game feels like one very deep in the playoffs.

Both teams playing well, very high intensity from start to finish.

4 seconds left, timeout. Nuggets up by 2, Celtics ball.

It is a one shot game.

It’s a great game, quasi ruined by terrible officiating both ways.

Difference between this and the Philly game is Denver kept focus down the stretch. Didn’t have the sloppy turnovers and defensive breakdowns. Either would be a great finals matchup.

Poor execution by Boston on that last possession.

Only watched the ending, but it was solid! Celtics look like they underperformed tonight.

It was a two man team today: Jokic and Murray were great, the others hardly showed up. Okay, not entirely true -- the effort was there but the execution was lacking.
The Nuggets shot like 5 airballs from three, very uncharacteristic. It cost Jokic the triple double but they somehow won the game. Their defense was very good in the 4th.

Boston is a tricky team. Porzingis was great in the 1st Q and White played well... the others had average or below average games. And they almost won still. Boston is very hard to beat.

gave up 100 points and gave Boston its first home loss so someone must've showed up

Jason "not that guy" tatum. Complete opposite of Murray who makes smart shots in the clutch and can actually make them. Why did the Celtics let Tatum iso for the final shot?

Defense was fine. A few slips aside both teams played good defense. The game was very intense from the beginning and it helped players play with real effort. Felt like a deep playoff game. Even better than the one the Nuggets played at Philly the other night and that was high intensity as well.

Great D and Murray and Jokic showing up is a winning formula

Tatum with his usual big game stinker

Tatum with his usual big game stinker

For the most part, Tatum’s stats improve in the playoffs. That includes scoring, rebounds and assists. It’s not like he’s Harden or Embiid.

And players may use matchups to get up for a regular season game. And the media may promote them as big. But no regular season game is a big game unless it’s near the end of the season and crucial for playoff positioning. Makes no difference whether you lose to Denver or Detroit in January. It’s still just a loss.

Just got done watching the game. In regards to KP, he doesn't really hunt shots. If he is open or has an advantage he will shoot but if he doesn't he will move it quickly most of the time. After his hot start Denver tightened up their defense on him so he passed.

He generally isn't going to go 1 on 1 unless he has a mismatch, and sometimes not even then.

This is exactly right. Nuggets see the same thing with MPJ all the time. The other teams in on Joker and Murray. MPJ opens hot with open looks and has a great 1st quarter. Other team makes adjustments, and he doesn’t go off for the rest of the game. Then people wonder why the Nuggets stopped going to him.
