Yes I know you will come at me, but I'm just asking a question.
Their coach died Wednesday (RIP) and of course it is a tragedy and they rightfully cancelled the game the same night, but yesterday was 2 full days after.
I've never seen anything like this in which you expect adult men, who were not next of kin, to get time off their job for several days?
Have you ever known anyone get more than one day off the job when a coworker dies? I sure haven't.

Why did you ask a question when you know the answer? Why did I just ask a question when I know the answer?

It’s because they have this awesome trade in the works and they need to push as many games as possible past the trade deadline to increase their chance of making the post-season.

Unless Lebron specifically speaks out in protest against this I really dont have a problem with it.

Does he even need to speak out in protest anymore? Can’t he just get on his hotline to Stern and issue orders?
Why did you ask a question when you know the answer? Why did I just ask a question when I know the answer?

Listen dumbass, the question isn't why they postponed, but why they postpone a game several days after the death of a coach.
I have never heard of any such thing happening in any sport.

They had the night off of course.
How many days/weeks do they need until they can get on the court and do their job?
Duty? What if they were a police officer or surgeon? You think those kind of guys take more than 1 day off?
Being a man?
They will of course get time off for the funeral.
I've legit never heard of men needing more than 1 day off following a death that they weren't next of kin to.
It's incredible soft and pathetic. These NBA players are such bitches.

a patient dying on a surgeon isnt a personal tragedy. If a cop's friend or surgeon's friend died, yes they have taken off multiple days off work, it's called bereavement leave. add on he was a coach and died in front of them basically and yea this is a special situation where postponing an extra game is no big deal

You know that they postponed the game because one of their coaches died. You made this topic asking the question which you answer for yourself in the first post. You are a bit of a moron, and my ass would just like you to know that it is more intelligent than your brain.

Honestly man, I don't think it's simple.
You could also say that they should honor his memory by going out and playing the game of their life.
That would also be a typical response in the past.
I can't help but feel this is something some well paid psychologist suggested.

Why did you ask a question when you know the answer? Why did I just ask a question when I know the answer?
Hes asking what the thought process / explanation behind the reason is, basically.
I can tell someone I didnt let an Indian stay in my house cause I dont like Indians.
Then you can ask why. Me telling you cause I dont like Indians wouldnt be a sufficient answer to that.

No you being racist would be a sufficient explanation and highly believable.

just a dash of racism, inserted for no reason other than to let others know

Because the team is fracturing even worse lately between Kerr/vaxxies, and Wiggins and the anti-vaxxies, over what is likely a myocarditis-induced heart attack in that 46yo coach, cause by the shot. Sh!t is getting real all over. Warriors just catching it from all angles. Watch Kerr drop dead next.

You ask a good question. Prepare for goofy virtue signaling in response such as "A man died for crying out loud! give them some time!!!". We are a pathetic society. people never actually try to be moral in their own lives. The only time they affect something similar is to be generous with something that isn't theirs like time or someone else's money.
"See I was willing to let them take 10 days off to deal with this tragedy. Meanwhile that miser just wanted to let them take five days off! I guess its because I care."

At least it seems obvious that duty is not a virtue anymore.
The idea that you do your duty regardless of the challenges you face.
There's this idea now though that basketball is both only entertainment, but at the same time these people get paid and admired like royalty. If your King is this weak, why should they be King?

You have to question why so many healthy athletes and former athletes are dropping dead.
