No Garland, no Mobley.
No problem.

This is Mitchell at his best. Just spamming pnr with shooters and defenders around him. He’s not the best but he’s a pretty damn good floor raiser. Someone like booker is more versatile and plays better with other elite talent. Also shows that Mobley/Allen and Mitchell/garland are awkward fits. Allen has been a beast this stretch too they don’t miss mobleys defense at all

Beginning to see a pattern with Mitchell.

When that team is eventually healthy, they might as good as any team in the east not named the Celtics.

Yeah we saw the two small scoring guard thing in Portland. We know how that story ends.
Mobley just isn't that good.

a 22 year old putting up 16 pts on 57% from the field and 77% from the line 11 rbds/3 off 3 ass a steal and a couple blocks a game isn't that good? :lol

Yea he’s a net neutral even a negative on offense. A non shooting 4 is a huge negative in current nba. He’s not the best defender on the team either

22. He'd be a senior in college or a junior with the covid year, The Jazz were a better team with Mitchell off the floor than on

Relative to expectations i think he's been a bit disappointing. This is his 3rd season and his offense doesn't seem to have progressed at all. A lot of guys really break out in their 3rd season.
A forward that can't shoot 3s needs to be special in other areas to really make an impact.

He's good but he's a terrible fit next to Allen, when Allen was injured last season Mobley was putting up all star numbers
Mitchell has always looked most comfortable as a point guard so him and Garland kinda have a awkward fit
Mitchell + Allen with 3 shooters spacing the floor is the best setup that's why the Cavs are currently rolling
They started the season 4-7 in their first 11 games. Then now they are almost close to 30 wins. They're better than even miami now, at least rs-wise. That's despite still missing two key players in their lineup and nobody's talking about them that much.

Mitchell isn't a pg. He's a gunner

6.1 assists with over 2:1 AST/TOV?
6'3" tall?
Seems like an ideal PG to me.

6'1". Should be. When you take the all shots and don't get your best player the ball you aren't a pg. Pg's can run a pick a roll

He's no mike conley tho. A small guy that can cater or complement a big role player teammate. :confusedshrug:

he's definitely no Conley. Playmaker/pick and roll/defense/shooting/leadership. Too bad Conley was used just as a spot up shooter playing with the gunner and had to guard bigger players because Mitchell doesn't do D

According to the combine, 6'1.25'' without shoes, 6'3'' with shoes. Mitchell is their best player, so no need to pass the ball to himself. :pimp:
